Magulicea

Magulicea is a romanian mountain village.It belongs to Varfuri district from Arad area. For the first time the village was mentioned in 1427.The village belonged in the XVth century to Halmagiu region.At the census from 1715 in the village were mentioned only 2 servs families.In 1869 the number of inhabitants increased to 604.The oldest names and families in the village are: Iuga,Roman,Ghilea.

The village is made of many nucleus of houses named spinnieies:Romanesti, Delani, Glestii, Nemesesti.The vilage has a primary school, an orthodox church built of brick,a grave yard with old wooden croses.Inside the primary school people from the vilege arranged a small museum with ethnographical objects gathered from the inhabitants.

The main jobs are: agriculture, growing animals(horses, cows,muttons )fruit trees.
