Research in Hungary

The research in Hungary was made in three parts: the first between the 17th of May and the 23rd of May in Mehkerek( Micherechi) locality; the second between the 7th of June and 13th of June in Elek( Aletea) locality and the third between the first of July and the 7th of July in Totkomlos locality. The team was made of: Sorin Sabau, Elena Rodica Colta , Gabriel Halmagean from Arad Museum and Emilia Martin Nagy, Elena Csobai and Ando Gyorgy from Munkacsy Mihaly Museum from Bekescsaba(HU).

In every locality we wanted to achieve a general point of view. We wanted to find out more information about social life, history of the localities, folk and traditional architecture , customs and folk traditions, local trades, local holidays, family life, mythology and traditional medicine. Recordings, photos and films had been made in every locality in order to point out the most important aspects of the project and to create an archives.
