This project is meant to promote a cooperation between Arad Museum (Romania) and Munkacsy Mihalyi Muzeum from Bekescsaba (Hungarian) with a view to examining the cultural way of life

between romanians and other nationalities which live together near the border area and also with a view to promoting thier traditions and their habits.

Right in the middle of this project we have the public from the border area communitis as well as specialists from all kind of domanins like: ethnography, sociology, history etc.

At the some time is this project we will develop researching activities( in villagis,at the library,at the archives), with a view to collecting new objects for ethnographical collections of those two Museums.The most representative pieces and objects will be presented to the public as part of an exhibition. The results of our research will be published into a special volum of studies and scientific articles and a documentary film will be made about habits and traditions in this part of the border area.The most important aspects of the researching work will be presented on the web page created on this purpose..
